just had my disc deliverd from aria in manchester so is it best to totaly get rid if mcafee from my computer before i load kaspersky
Yes make sure you fully remove it from your computer or it will cause a conflict, kaspersky is easy to use make sure you put automatic updates on, and schedule a scan during the night when your not using your computer.

Also use it to scan all email attachments and downloads prior to opening them, simply right click choose “scan files” on the said files and scan them any problems delete them.

That’s it really.

can you run SUPERantispyware in conjunction with kaspersky?

You don’t need to, and it will cause major conflicts on your PC causing it to crash plus it will slow it down badly.

Kaspersky is a complete suite and it is all you need, it updates itself regular so is always up to date

remove the all the rest, bang in your disc and relax you wont ever have another unwanted visitor ( i promise)

think your right its found a trojan and other bits of stuff that mcafee never got near, best £12 ever

great suff, like i said all you do now is scan all your dowlnoads and email attachments prior to opening,it will tell you if there is anything nasty inside and you can just delete the files.

you do that by rightclicking your mouse over the file and selecting scan file.

i think thats it mate

You can now relax and enjoy downloading legitimate material once again :-)

are all the nasties automatically deleted?

It depends some files are quarantined because they appear to be mimicking the behaviour of spyware, I am afraid that is down to your discretion to delete them.
Usually though you are warned before downloading, so decide then.

If you download anything quarantine the files and scan them then delete if you need to, don’t open anything to the registry without checking its authenticity.
