I once had to make the excuse that i'd dripped the glue off my airfix model of Prinz Eugen, onto my mum's latest catalogue in the mid 1980s, to explain the stuck pages.

What struck me is how much more natural ladies looked back then.

Devonshire street Ardwick. I worked there as an Engineer in the bulk room

My mum used to get Grattans catalogue and I remember as a very young lad spending many hours staring at a page with women in very long leather boots. My dad caught me one day and just gave me a sly smile.
I progressed from that to my mums Jackie Collins books :)
