Keir Starmer

Is it possible to love Labour but hate Starmer?
Not an easy question to answer, and a one that many labour voters are doubtless struggling with. I suppose it depends on wether you see starmer merely as a transitional figure, or like trump and the republicans -a disease that has infected the party.

It then begs the question, can you support the likes of Rayner, Cooper, Ashworth, et al, and ignore the face of Starmer?

I think I'll only really know the answer to that after they've had a few years in power. I'm more inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt than a protest vote (greens etc) at this stage.

In all honesty, I’m not sure any of us know what they’d bring as what they say now is only to keep current with the popular vote. It will be on their actions that we can judge, just as I’ve judged this government to be totally ineffective and brought the country to its knees.
