It would take years to restore NHS staffing levels and there is no way to clear waiting lists quickly without outsourcing some ops to private hospitals. It happened under the last Labour government. BUPA's Swedish surgeon made a poor job of my daughter's bunion but it was quicker than waiting for a slot at NHS hospital. She might have sued the NHS if she hadn't been working for the NHS...

To be fair , it was a resounding success for sunak.
He set out to answer no questions and simply deflect and use silly schoolyard name-calling.
He succeeded on every count.
