He does have several decent politicians to help him, but I cannot see this country recovering from 13 years of Tory mismanagement for decades, and I don't think the public will have that patience, so anyone leading the next non Tory incumbent to no10 is between a rock and a hard place.
Personally, I think he and his team will be a lot more palatable than Sunak et al but I'm not expecting immediate miracles.
