Sir Keir StarmerI think he’ll be more radical than many people think but knows that anything too radical said now gives the Tories ammunition to use “magic money tree” bollocks in response to promises made now. His priority is to be seen as not corrupt and not to scare off the socially conservative vote that have kept the Tories in power for 13 years but have finally realised that the government are useless. He will have calculated that the vast majority of Labour’s core support will vote for them anyway so pissing off a significant proportion of them now is a risk worth taking when looking at the bigger picture. Once in power I think things could look very different.
