I've voted Labour all my life and was for many years in the party, quite of few of those years in Finchley, so I had the pleasure of campaigning for Labour against Thatcher in her constituency.First time today since I got the vote I have stayed at home. My polling station is 500 yards away from my house, but i just could not justify voting Labour, i would never vote Tory, I despise the Lib Dems and there was no other option.
Plus i really resented showing ID to the people at the polling station as they have known me for 50 years, she lives 5 fucking doors away.
But yesterday I stayed at home for the first time since I was eligible to vote. I can't imagine a scenario where I'll ever vote Labour again.
