Kevin De Bruyne 2016/17

he's due his fair part of criticism for last night, but shit i've read people saying that Mourihno was right to ditch him ! How can people write something like this after the season he's had.
 
Quite rightly we berate the likes of Kolarov, Bony and Yaya for their displays. It's only right De-Bruyne should get it for last night.
I actually thought he was our worst player last night along with Yaya, he gave the ball away for fun, didn't try to impose himself on the game once, looked weak, hid for large parts of the game and then tried to score from a stupid angle with what was our last chance to try and score!

However he had a really poor game, granted a it was a big game, but in the cold light of day he had a very poor 90 minutes, where as the likes of Bony, Yaya, Kolarov etc, well they've had a poor 2015/2016 possibly even longer than that.

It's what a lot of dickheads on here do, they only deal in extremes, either someone is brilliant or they're shit with these people. Best to ignore them if you can.

These threads that always emerge on the back of a poor performance have gone beyond ridiculous. I wish the 'I'm entitled to my opinion' mob could have an opinion on something else. Empty vessels and all that.

Haha let's dig it out, might as well say it to all the other players' too;)

But seriously, at least most of them aren't saying things like we shouldn't buy him (which would really make me question their sanity), and no one is calling him names (unlike in the Sterling thread some time ago). Ultimately it's just one poor performance from an otherwise great player. Hopefully he will work harder and learn to be more careful with his passing this Sunday. We need a good performance from him, and from the whole team as well.
