He is the most intelligent, quickest thinking, most skillful and imaginative player I have ever seen. He never stops running. He is everywhere. He is on a different level to everyone else on the pitch. Best of all, he plays for City. A professor and Olympian combined.

As I have said many times to my mates, the man is a demigod. How he is able to withstand the brutal challenges, week in, week out, is beyond human.

He rode that cowardly McClean challenge like it was a fly smacking against a rhino, before stroking in that goal as a big “**** off”.
