It is though. It's a great stat actually because the number of times outright creators get these second assists is massive and separates them from forwards who usually get a lot of assists from simple passes.

Sané almost has more assists than Silva for example, but we all know which is the creative player. If you look at the graph including second assists you'll see Silva's impact much better represented.

Yes, it is. It is called a Key Pass (@domalino this is actually the name of the metric) and our David (and Kevin) is a master of it.

There have been some amazing players that rarely got the assist or goal but if you took them out of their teams they suddenly would go to ****, and most were the ones that were the key pass machines, playing the ball that unlocks the defense and allows two others players to make the rest look easy.

Particularly the way we play - so many goals have come from an incredible KDB or Silva pass which puts someone through, they then square it for a simple finish from Aguero or Sterling.
