Personally I think Kev should be in the frame for the Balon D’Or this season, as Ronaldo’s looked a faded force. As ever though, playing for City won’t help his cause......

Danny Murphy said he’s the best passer of the ball who has ever played in the premier league. I’m inclined to agree.

I don’t think there’s many other players in the world who could play a pass of similar quality for our second goal yesterday. His first assist was brilliant, too.

He’s been a revelation since making the switch to a deeper role. Pep deserves a lot of credit for De Bruyne’s brilliance this season.

I think he is the best passer of a ball that I have ever seen, in terms of creative passing, in 50 years of watching the game. There may have been better passers that I just didn't see enough of or was paying such close attention to but it's like Kev has a brain that is like a radar equipped missile guidance system.

He will never even be considered for the Ballon as long as Ronaldo & Messi are still alive. Also as he plays for us, he might as well forget it.
