Tongue in cheek?

he had one of his very rare poor games. A few stray passes, losing the ball. Would not put it against him though with the World Cup coming. Benefit of the doubt he might be pacing himself and pulling out of rash coming togethers not just tackles.

Beautiful assist at the very end. But before that he was not his best self.

I think you will find he posted that Thursday morning........

That comment was from midweek when he didn't play. :?

Today was the reason Kev is world class: he can have a mare of a performance for 90 minutes and then, in stoppage, play an amazing ball to win the game.

He just keeps going, through adversity, and gets it done.

Exactly - this is why we love him. Other players would not keep wanting the ball and would stop trying those killer passes. Too many times in the past we've had players who would rather pass it 5 yards sideways than even attempt that final pass especially when out of form. Quality player and quality man off the pitch.

He was very Gerrard today & v Huddersfield but he produced two world class passes at the end, one for Sané one for Jesus, either could have won it, one did.

Great player.

Shame that he only got the two assists since the Leicester game back in February. I'd put that down to a mix of a very heavy workload taking its toll and some poor finishing. He was still putting in some quality balls this entire time, even if not as much as earlier in the year.

Hopefully he gets a nice rest after the World Cup.
