For the first time ever, we have a player that I wouldn’t swap for Messi. For me he’s the best all round player in the world

Just watched MOTD and sky live game. Sometimes its only when you see the replays that you fully appreciate how special a player is and by that I mean how difficult it is to play some passes. KDB is a special special player. The assists for Sterling and Agueros first goal are ridiculously good. Rednapp is 100% right no one has ever passed like KDB in the PL. Sadly Colin Bell was before my time but for those who saw him to say he was as good or better than KDB is amazing. Both incredible players.

He's only behind Messi for me right now, with Ronaldo having an average season and Neymar not great last year before moving to PSG where, let's face it, KDB would probably get 40 assists a season.

Danny Murphy said he’s the best passer of the ball who has ever played in the premier league. I’m inclined to agree.

I don’t think there’s many other players in the world who could play a pass of similar quality for our second goal yesterday. His first assist was brilliant, too.

He’s been a revelation since making the switch to a deeper role. Pep deserves a lot of credit for De Bruyne’s brilliance this season.
