By their own sodding rules it is an assist.

Hadn’t followed this story. If the shot on goal had been deflected even more, the goal scorer would still have been credited with the goal, yet not the assist. Bizarre rule.

Is Kev our captain for the next few years ?

The way he talks to the press with authority & his effort on the pitch suggest nobody is close to him. He seems to have a bit of vinny calm about him too.

Might just keep him with us for a few more years too as he seems to relish responsibility & appreciation from the fan’s & club.

I wouldn’t swap Kev for any player on the planet

We may have finished second this year and it’s been painful watching Liverpool winning the title, but it still amazes me that City have the likes of Kev and David playing for us. The shite we had to put up with before we got taken over and now we’ve got the best midfielder in the world playing for us. We’ve been spoilt with world class midfielders over the years.
