Not that he did, but he could be having the worst game of his career and you still know he's going to split the opposition in two and put it on a plate for someone at some point.

He has unshakable confidence in his own ability. But I guess that's easy when you're that good.
He’s magic.

Must have been knackered after those 3 games. Sat deeper and not at his rampaging best. Thankfully those 2 early goals second half meant
he didn't have to go tearing around the pitch trying to make something happen.

He shouldn't be anywhere near the Port Vale game.
Everton did a really good job blocking the passing lanes into him. Sometimes the opposition deserves some credit too.
Others have to take advantage of the space when a lot of manpower is focused on KDB.

KDB had to sit deeper. He along with Gundo were double pivots. Pep defends with 5 players and since we played 3 at the back with Mendy and Cancelo higher the 2 midfielders had to sit deeper. So naturally you don't get the best of him going forward.

Just sit back and enjoy this blues. He is phenomenal and the vision to play passes whilst running with pace is so rare we may not see his like for a long time. A fantastic footballer.

What exactly are double pivots

He’s playing at a higher level than what Yaya and Silva ever reached now for me.
