Kev has had over 70 shots(excluding pens) this season with only his tap in vs Chelsea to show for it. Shocking return, what has happened to his finishing ability?

Kev just needs to learn to hold it up and slow the attack down sometimes instead of trying to thread passes in quickly all the time. It's good if it comes off, but when it doesn't it creates an open game. Quickly losing possession means our midfielders and defenders aren't set positionally so there is more space for the opponents to play through our counter pressing. It's a lot easier for us when we are camped in the opponents half to stop counter attacks.
His quality of crossing and creativity is not questioned. Just needs to slow down sometimes when it's not on.
Pep said the same.

He is sometimes looking a little out of place in a team that is completely obsessed with control and limiting the number of transitions in the match. I am sure he will adapt to it, but this season the team is not really built with his strengths in mind. Makes me realise how easy it is to ‘replace’ world class players. You just play different and carry on. Kev will learn to play less frantically though, he’s too intelligent not to.
