Kevin Horlock

He was a class player for us. Technically great in comparison to the divisions we found ourselves in.

Could always strike a ball very cleanly.

Was one of the classier players we had in those dark days.

I notice that on the 'best value for money signing' thread of yesterday, Kevin Horlock gets few mentions, probably none actually. But he was a very good player for us, the best signing Frank Clarke made certainly and was adapt at scoring some very good and inportant goals for City. Defo good value and a good servent to the club.

He was Frank Clark's only decent signing - period!

Gerrard Wiekens??

I stand corrected - good player - must have been his annonymous time with us(apart from marking van diver out of the last derby at MR) that made me forget him.

just that lack of pace prevented horlock from being a top class midfielder.............but he could pass that ball and score vital goals, super kev!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A wonderful player and servant to the Club. Imagine how good he could have been with a bit of pace about him.
