Kevin Horlock

I thought he was a great player at the level we were at at the time. I did an interview with him once; he was a smashing fella.

I met his brother at an England game at Wembley a few years back .his brother is Milwall fan ,nice bloke told me Kev loved playing for us & loved the fans .
Just thought I'd share

Probably missing the pace to be a regular at Premiership level, but great for us in Divisions 1/2. Had a great left foot too, apart from his play-final goal and penalty I particularly remember a free-kick in a 1-0 home win against Ipswich (I think) that proved vital.

In turbulent times he was a rock in our midfield. Lots of goals and rarely had a bad game. A true, underrated, City hero.

Dickovs goal became iconic, but kev's was just as important. And he got us off to a flyer with a great penalty.

Met him in the Bulls Head Halebarns the day after the Blackburn promotion game. Few players there but he spotted my mcfc tie and came over to say hello ! He was still on top of the moon and I shook his hand but he said be careful as he'd broken it the night before celebrating ! Seemed like he loved City.
