Can I be the first to ask Chris Bailey to mention, when he interviews Khaldoon at the end of the season, the disgusting attack on our bus prior to the first leg of the CL quarter final at Anfield?

There is no doubt that if the posters on Bluemoon are anything to go by, City supporters generally regard the attack as an absolutely despicable act, one which will - sorry, has - caused massive and potentially irreparable damage to relations between the two sets of supporters. I don’t doubt that it has soured the relationship between the clubs, though I suspect that at or about boardroom level there will too much professionalism to let that get in the way.

There may be very good reasons why Khaldoon does not want to talk about the issue, but I for one would be very very interested to hear his views on the attack, and to hear the clubs view on how Liverpool FC and Merseyside Police acted at the time and have acted since. I would also be interested in learning how, if at all, Liverpool have compensated City for the attack.

There are many other things that Khaldoon will be asked, and all being well most of them will be reflections on a record breaking title wing season, and this thread may be a platform to discuss them. But as a City fan I have to say I am far angrier about the bus attack than I have ever been about any issue that has ever affected City in the past and that includes the time we were playing keep ball in the corner with the score at 2-2 when we needed to win to avoid relegation.

A totally inappropriate question in my view. By having a dig at another club, it will only reflect badly on Khaldoon and on us as a club. We don't want to be going down that road. Let others misbehave; our club should not sink to those levels and should keep our head held high by talking about ourselves and being positive.

Not that he would talk about it anyway but the issue won't be dealt with my uefa until the end of May, I imagine the interview will be done before then so there's zero chance he will comment on an ongoing charge. There's really no reason for it to come up in his interview, I'd much rather he heaped praise on the double winning side than concentrate on a club that will likely end up with nothing and 20 points behind us.

I await the deliberations of the EUCB. I am sure they will ban Liverpool from Euro competitions for the next five years. I am also sure that Khaldoon is appalled by the coach incident but is far too educated beyond the gutters of Anfield to grovel about the same gutters frothing about how appalled he is! Not his way of doing things.

It will be all fur and no nickers again.

He will thank Pep, his staff and the players.

He will be happy about winning the league Cup and PL Title.(not tempting fate)

He will be disappointed we didn't win the CL.

He will tell us money will be available for Pep, and the club will strengthen the team in the
Summer.

And he will thank the fans for their support.

Just saved him a job.

I concur. The club should take the high road

Thank you.

Exactly mate. It's just another glib, scripted PR operation.
Not worth listening to anymore.

His interview should be on what we have done and where we will imporve on and off the pitch.

Anybody still giving a shit about the scousers come June is just being petty, they ain't worth the breath

they are forgetable and already forgotten til next we meet

Sink to what level ffs.
Our bus, players, coaches and officials were attacked in a premeditated, planned ambush whilst NeverPool & the conspiratorial RAWK agents stood by and did nowt.
I'd prefer Khaldoon to be asked "who made the decision to pull the team out of the first leg" cos that,in my view would've put the cat amongst the UEFA pidgins.
These dirty Scouse tramps have got to be held to account on every level, could you even begin to think of the hysteria & media shit storm of blame & recrimination if the boot was on the other foot.
Go hard,go often CITY.

And isn't that in itself an absolute disgrace.

Can you imagine a player getting two yellow cards, but the ref saying "we'll decide what action to take at the end of May... carry on".

Absolute bent bastards. Had it been us attacking their bus, we'd have been kicked out of the competition, pronto.
