So we have 200 players 9-23. 85%= 170, so 30 non-local players in 18-23 age groups.
Wonder how many local lads that leaves in those squads?

Wonder if Phillips and Cucurella are the final pieces of the jigsaw then?
This man never loses his class. I can't see where we would be today if it weren't for his vision and commitment. We are privileged to have someone like him as chairman, especially when you look at the bunch of clowns running other top clubs.

Mansour and Khaldoon had visions of our academy becoming our very own La Masia and they’ve achieved it. It was always a hope of mine during the first five years that we’d be eventually in a position to field 4/5 Manchester lads and maintain a world class level. Hopefully Palmer has his breakthrough season this coming season, so that would be two Manchester lads in the first team. Just a couple more to go!PL, PL2 & U18 winners for the 2nd year in a row - I knew. But it was nice hearing confirmation that U17 & U16 also won.
the conveyor belt of talent, attraction and internal investment is on full steam ahead.

That's a bloody good point. He's hardly changed since our club was founded, almost 14 years ago. Maybe a bit of grey on the temples and the chin. Now, far be it for me to say that's a syrup he's touting there.Does the man ever age?

it's clear we need a left back and replacement for fernandinho then maybe 2 or 3 leaving because we are top-heavy with forwards ? also cole palmar and james Mcatee will have to be given first team squad places

He is good enough for our squad, as is Rice.

I'd be delighted if we added those two.
If Gabby or Raz leave, they will probably need replacing in some form but we have two fine prospects in Palmer and McAtee so they might be enoug id just one of those senior players leaves.
