It seems he has been representing Mark Hughes the last couple of months.

This might explain some of Carlos's comments.

re Hughes should never have been sacked

and he's sure to get a big club 100%.

Carlos should tread carefully though as hopefully we are moving to the stage where no player is bigger than the club.

Bleeding Welsh git Hughes, I hope wherever he ends up he cocks up big time

I still like hughes. When we beat chelsea, and he was a pundit, he didn't seem bitter, which he could have done.

He did a good job here, and i think he is a great manager, and i hope he does get a big job.

But i also think Mancini is a great manager too, so don't start whinging.

i wish some people would show hughes a bit of respect i wasnt his biggest fan but for god sake he started all this also he has never had a bad word to say since his sacking also he bigged up city when he was a pundit so please give the fella a break

He started all this? He took over a team that had finished 9th on 55 points. He bought new players for £120 million before and during his first season. He then finished 10th on 50 points, that's what he did.

A player saying nice things about his old manager and being honest about his sacking?

Its a nothing story but as Carlos has been told by the club not to talk about the rags its all the media have got this week.

I heard Joorabchian on the radio a few weeks ago, stating as if absolute fact, that Mancini's record was no better than Hughes's and that it was a mistake to sack him. He is a cock.

1) I concur with those on here who say that Hughes has conducted himself with dignity since his removal. Whether he has been paid handsomely for his silence we will never know.

2) Joorabchian as Hughes' agent is going to say this I suppose. However it is quite evidently wrong. Comparison's between their records both at City and previously suggest that only one of them is a really top notch manager.

-- Wed Apr 14, 2010 10:01 am --

I have to say I was never a big fan of Hughes but he was our manager and has conducted himself with dignity. What is the deal with Joorabchian? I would have thought that it would have made sense to buy what ever rights he had over Tevez. If he no longer has rights over him then i imagine he is just putting his name out there, looking for the next Tevez to come along and sign his future away. If he still has a hold over Tevez then WTF?

I know he has sold his ownership of Tevez but I think he is still Tevez's agent/representative.
