Simon Mullock is one the few genuine blues reporting in the redtops so this rather old story is still worth taking seriously:

Exclusive: Man City fear influence of Tevez agent
Published 23:01 23/07/11 By Simon Mullock

Manchester City fear the influence of agent Kia Joorabchian at the club is growing – even though Carlos Tevez is unlikely to ever pull on a Sky Blue shirt again.

City are willing to bring an end to the Tevez saga by allowing the Argentine striker to move to any club willing to meet his £50million asking price.

But the City hierarchy have been made aware that Tevez’s adviser Joorabchian has been looking to extend his sphere of influence at the Etihad Stadium.

Sunday Mirror Sport understands that Joorabchian has been advising Nigel de Jong, Joe Hart and Nedum Onuoha about how to maximise their earnings potential – and that City chiefs have been left fuming about his interference.

A City insider said: “We understand that Kia Joorabchian has been offering his services to any player willing to listen.
“Of course, he has experience of negotiating with the club because of his association with Carlos Tevez.

“But after what has happened with Carlos over the past six months there is an increasing reluctance to have any kind of dealings with Joorabchian. It’s a matter of trust.”

(my apologies if there is another thread on this - I looked)

bullshit, those players will have seen the trouble he has caused and should stay well clear.

if for any reason any player engaged kia as an advisor i would sell that player that day.

we dont need to put up with any shit from any source now.

they are playing with fire if they are taking advice from kia. maybe they have seen the special treatment afforded to tevez this last season and think he can do the same for them with a better contract. the club should let it be known that anybody with any dealings with kia will no longer be negotiated to with the club for contracts or signings. if the players have been offered contracts and rejected them, sell them after they have put in a transfer request and waving there right to a percentage of a transfer fee. then lets see how good an advisor kia is to them when they get offerded less money but kia still gets his cut from the transfer to somebody that will let kia run roughshot over them. most palyers at city will never get contracts like they have now anywhere else to jepordise that by crawling into bed with kia is either disrespectful or stupid. i'll let the players work that one out for themselves

kia is such a good "advisor" that he nudges sparky (his client) and says," the chelsea and villa jobs are up for grabs!.........more money ....lets go!...throw your notice in with fulham!....trust me!?"

Where are you now sparky?????

good work Kia! oh and while i'm on about it you cocked up with carlos too!

Not necessarily true, I know someone who plays golf with Hughes and the reason he left Fulham is that they told him they were looking to finish mid table and if they got Europa League then it was a bonus Lesley is more ambitious than that so he left and will wait for the right club, if they do, to come along there was no grand plan in the meantime he is enjoying getting his handicap

You can sum it up in one word-youneverknow!! Footballers arent known for their smarts, are they?? No matter what you say, the agent is supposed to work for the footballer not the other way around. The greed that has permeated American Sports has been here for a looooong time. I see you lot are starting to catch up!!!
