Now yes, I know there'll be plenty of people who will slag off Radiohead and tbh I would've done so months ago, but I've listened and over time I've come to appreciate their music.

These two albums of course were when they started to get uber-technical, and some of it can be less-than-easy listening, but there's no doubting both albums are superb and outstanding achievements especially considering the time they were released. OK Computer is a more easy to listen to album IMO but having bought these two today I wanted to see the opinions on them.

Love Radiohead... Every album of theres has been fantastic apart from King Of Limbs.

That was such a disappointment outside of Lotus Flower.

Also Mr Magpie was a fucking amazing song when it was first written in the mid 90's, but they've totally ruined it now.

Other than that, their work is amazing. Got pretty much every CD they've released

Radiohead are a class band. I have seen them live only once and there set was fucking amazing. As for the 2 albums you mention both are good to listen to. For me The Bends is the best of there work. King Of Limbs is good in my view but they have released better in the past. I think they have released some brilliant stuff over the years but you are bound to get a odd album or 2 that isnt normally up to there high standards.

The bands that started out back around then not many are still releasing good stuff. I like the Manics but there stuff is getting a bit hit a miss in recent years.

Yeah I agree with you, mate. To hard to pick a favourite Radiohead album, just know I wasn't impressed with KoL. I'm on my own with that though, most people I know were really satisfied with it.

The Manics are probably my favourite band of all time. Fell in love listening to the Everything Must Go cassette on my way back from primary school! Dad took me to see them when I was 10 in Cardiff, and seen them again 4 times since then growing up! I literally can't think of a song I don't enjoy by them, including all B-sides and unreleased work. I can see why some fans might be less pleased with the more recent "pop-rock" work though, but I still love it. haha

The Holy Bible album is in my opinion a pretty much complete album. Amazing lyrics, perfectly sung, and the music is fantastic too.

No doubting some of the singles they released over the years were fucking top notch. There last album was a decent 1 as well if my memory is right. I havnt listened to them for a while. SO I must put it back on again soon.

TKOL is a weird one to me, though I thought that about Radiohead in general up until recently but I think the general opinion of that particular album is muted.

Lost track of Radiohead after ok computer but saw the live just before the bends came out and they were very good. I've heard that if you play 2 of their albums together first song off one and then first song of 2nd then track
2 off both that they flow seamlessly (I think it is the bends and the album after ok computer)

The my iron lung ep was the best thing they've done imo
