Good luck to anyone wishing to visit Abu Dhabi on a family holiday in August. Not only will you have near 50-degree temperatures to deal with, it will also be Ramadan. There's a reason why it's so cheap; no one wants to be here this August!!

Trust me, I'd say the same about Dubai. I don't even want to be here in August, so I don't know why anyone would actually pay to come here then.

And, yes, anyone with a brain and not wanting to be bored to death would fly with Etihad into Abu Dhabi and then get straight onto the first bus to Dubai ;-)
