King of the Kippax | Last ever edition (p 20)

It sounds like the sort of concoction that James Bond would knock back - "shaken not stirred "of course.
You wouldn't need many of those to get you well pissed !!!

He was part of the badminton club. Just hope it was after his match not before... I had to sit down afterwards as hea went a bit

Used to really enjoy reading the fanzines back in the day, Kotk and city till I cry were the ones most readily available I found. Before the forums etc really took off it was my only way off keeping up to date with all things City. Plus it used to keep me occupied on some of those long train journeys. We moved house about a year ago and the wife found a box full of fanzines which I spent a good few hours ago. Feels surreal reading about lack of money/ambition and the transfer window of 2004 where we were only able to bring in Thatcher and Mills. Reminded me a bit of this window really.

I've got to say I loved them days. A fanzine was a link to fellow Blues. The first Internet one that I knew of was MCIVTA, one of the people who ran it was a girl called Heidi, I only met her once anyone know where she is now ?
I remember the name Heidi Pickup on the weekly email A fantastic read for Blues around the world.
