He then said he actually bought them from Play.com tickets(new rival to ebay basically) for £140 and wants his money back.

So he's not asking face value, he's paid over the odds for tickets and wants his money back. Would have been more honest to say so in the first place.

Thats why i originally said PM me, then only the people interested would know the full story. I explained the full issue with the tickets to all who have PM'd me, didnt realise I had to put every minor detail on the original thread to avoid a character assassination. The circumstances of why the tickets are now available is quite sensitive and i didnt want to broadcast that on a public forum.

People just need to take a fucking chill pill and if you have an issue with the thread PM me for an explanation. Much more polite and decent way of doing things.

Fair enough, but you can see why it went the way it did.

If I said two tickets going spare for Saturdays game against Arsenal and then said £140 for the two, you'd expect a backlash.

Good band though. ;P
