On Wednesday, we are asking Manchester City legend Georgi Kinkladze some of your questions.
In this section, we explore what he loved about his time in Manchester.
Darryl: Who were your favourite teammates?

Kinkladze: I'm still in contact with Nicky Sumerbee, Michael Brown, Paul Dickov, and Kit Symons. It was a very friendly team of good players but also good boys. I really miss those days, I'm always happy to see them.
Mark: What was your favourite moment at City?
Kinkladze: Your first game is always special - and scoring your first goal to win a game is always special too. My first game was against Tottenham Hotspur - it was an amazing atmosphere. To come from Georgia and experience that was amazing. My first goal I scored was a 91st-minute winner against Aston Villa, so that was special.
Can you talk me through that famous goal against Southampton? Did you intend to take on five defenders and lob the goalkeeper?
Kinkladze: No! These kind of things come in on the field. When I got the ball, I never had in my head that I would pass one, two, three players. It just happened.
I also scored a good goal away at Middlesbrough - it was similar. I passed two or three defenders and scored.

What do you think of when you see this shirt [City home shirt 1995-96]
Kinkladze: The best shirt. How do I say? Once a Blue, always a Blue! The fans have always been special - still now to this day. In Georgia, we watch the Premier League on the television. Every footballer's dream in Georgia is to play in the Premier League, so I was really lucky to have that opportunity.
Nick: Do you regret not leaving City when they were relegated from the Premier League at the end of your first season [1995-96]?
Kinkladze: No. If you ask me now if I could turn back time and change anything, I wouldn't change a thing. Of course, it's important to try and win trophies, but for me it's more important that even when we fell down the divisions, people still turned up and clapped.
I come to Manchester 30 years later and people still recognise me. This is the most important thing for me.
How did you feel when Joe Royle decided he didn't want you at City in 1998?
Kinkladze: Every manager has their opinion - I respect that. If the manager decides not to play me, then that's his choice.

Brendon: Why did you join City in 1995?
Kinkladze: This is the Premier League - one of the best leagues in the world. Everybody wants to play in the Premier League. We [Georgia] had two games against Wales [Euro 96 qualifiers], I played well and scored in both the home and away game. When City offered me a contract, I didn't even think about it. I didn't even look what was in the contract. I just signed and I came to play here.
How did you find settling in Manchester?
I was 21, I came from a different country and I didn't speak any English. It was difficult at the beginning, but everybody made me feel welcome. I have never felt like a stranger or a foreigner here. It was easy after two months, I felt like I was in Georgia.
What do you remember about the reception you received?
Kinkladze: Everybody asks me this question: 'What day do you remember most?'. But for me, every day here was special. From the first day until now, almost 30 years ago, I've always felt very welcome in Manchester. I feel like it's my second home. I love coming back to see old friends. It's nice when City fans recognise me.

  6. Kindkladze Q&A: Why was Maine Road 'better' than Etihad Stadium?published at 07:54

Danny: What was it like playing at Maine Road?
Kinkladze: Amazing, amazing! Maine Road was better than Etihad Stadium - it had a better atmosphere.
    Why?
Kinkladze: Pep Guardiola has been in charge nearly nine years. They have won the league six times and the Champions League as well. They [fans] go to the stadium and they know they will win.
In my time, when we played we didn't know who would win so wins felt more special.
How did it feel to give fans joy during a difficult period?
Kindkladze: It felt really good - the memories are nice. The way City play football now - I'm really happy for the fans. I am still a City fan.
