i think you misread that, it was a quote from Ian Ashbee and it was "I had no idea that he had such an interest in wine and that Georgia was one of the birthplaces.".I'm pretty sure Ashbee is referring to birth places of wine, but it's set out badly as that point is made way up at the top of the article
