Sorry for sounding negative but I just thinking about certain kits then and it came across me, so whats the opinion of other blues?

Personally, I've never been a fan of this, not just because the season was just awful in general, but I just found it tacky almost, the shade of blue is nice, but its minor league imo:

Hated it in shortsleeve, but it was bearable in longsleeve.

I couldn't stand all three kits last season. Cheap-looking and ugly.

Got to agree with you on that one. Also the 2002/03 season home shirt was horrendous, although il always remember it for the derby when Chuckle fed the goat at maine road. Infact, i got the away kit that year and i think it was my first city shirt. I was eight at the time.

I didnt mind that one, the home and 3rd kits that year were ok, the home kit was a follow on from the before but with a minor badge change and new sponsor

Especially this one, I put this on par with the current sash kit. Personally I dont see what the fuss is at all, yet all I get from other blues is how classy it is, arrgghh

What about the red and back one with grey checked shoulders ! I think it was Umbro's last effort first time round. Foul, but great if you were out to show a certain devil-may-care taste blindness !

any away illuminous one, especially that orange abortion last season. although the '99 playoff one gets off because i'm a sentimental old bugger. as for homes, i can't stand the thought of all blue unless away when needed. wish this seasons home would have blue socks as then it would be perfect. the black and grey away worn by joey barton was shit as well.

the current third kit, in my eyes is one of the nicest away kits we have ever had, i really really love it, all kits this year have been bloody brilliant.i think the third kit should become our second choice rather then third next year.

I agree 100%, it's a superb kit.

Unlike many blues I never rated this kit at all, hideous.

Agree with all that mate. I'm not fond of the all black kit----every bugger wears em!---Why has black away kits become fashionable?
