Pep Guardiola has been shortlisted for the 2021/22 Premier League Manager of the Season award.

Pep was named Manager of the Month in November and December and has guided us to the brink of a fourth title in five seasons. We need a win on the last day of the season to guarantee back-to-back championships for the second time under Guardiola.

City went 15 games without defeat between November and February and are currently on a club record 18 match unbeaten run away from home in the league. We are also the division’s highest scorers and have the best defensive record in the league.

Pep has won the award in three of the previous four seasons and would move into outright second on the all-time list if he was successful again this time around.

The winner will be announced on Tuesday 24 May.

The nominees:

Pep Guardiola
Jurgen Klopp
Patrick Vieira
Thomas Frank
Eddie Howe

100% Thomas Frank.

Taking a team from the lower division to the Prem and snatching some notable scalps is an incredible feat. i know we've seen it before in other teams that have come up, but Brentford were genuinely a surprise in the way they played and feared no one.

Highly impressive season.

It's absolutely nailed on to be Jurgen Krap. If is isn't, it's because Pep's embarrassed them too much about their Liverpool support.
Surprised Wreck-it Ralph isn't on the list - or Ole!
Didn't den Tag nip in at the last minute for his heroic achievements in signing on a dotted line?
