Knife and fork

To the previous contributor..If I think a thread is shit I just ignore it. Go and play on Rag Issue!

Ok..I hold my knife and fork the supposed correct way. I think the logic is if you're right handed the knife requires more muscle power to cut tough meats etc. It would bother me whatever method you choose.

My mum used to instill in me to keep my elbows off the table and never lick my knife. The big no no is using your fork as a scoop. It should always be used by "forking" (excuse the expression) your food.

Im the same. I was having tea at my mates house when we was in school. His mam just burst out laughing telling everone who check out how i hold my knife and fork. She needed to get out more. Thats when i found out i was holding it in the wrong way. Doesnt bother me though. I can't hold it the "proper" way.

same here had a curry at a mates house all his family there they decided it was the funniest thing ever taking the piss i didnt see the funny side we then went to the pub where he thought he would be a smart arse and try and take the piss infornt of all the lads everyone looked at him with a blank face and told him to get a life and we all then proceeded to take the piss out of his boring family dont see the problem myself
