from a bloke in the know, having buffer and non playing issues, may be a dns issue and try and use googles dns rather than ISP default

yes, ISP can add filters to the dns to stop certain sites / servers resolving

Most modern routers allow you to select dns of choice, so google your router make and model with change dns and you should get easy to follow instructions.
