Just the stick pal, I've got a couple of boxes so this is just my device that I can keep with me.

Hmmn, difficult to say if you don't have a laptop and it won't download through es file explorer; do you have an android phone in your house mate? It is complicated but possible to sideload Kodi on to a firestick with an android device :)

just keep pressing arm happened to me took about 10 mins to start download

Ok so finally installed Kodi onto firestick from the stick itself as no pc.

Its not that complicated just faffy, I do it all the time for my old fella of my phone ;)

Firestick is android based mate not Linux based :)

Right, I'm at the last hurdle for installing Bluemoon build.
I now have a warning on screen
Your system has been detected as Android, you MUST force close XBMC/KODI. DO NOT exit cleanly via the menu
either close using task manager(if unsure pull the plug)
Any suggestions anybody ta?

Pull the power cord bud and then put the power back in and start Kodi, you'll have the build installed mate :)

Sports movies and TV shows are available, install Kodi on a PC or android device and then follow the video at the start of the thread :)
