Manchester City full back Aleksandar Kolarov may come into contention for the trip to Blackpool on October 17.

The 24-year-old Serbian injured his ankle on his debut against Tottenham but is set to return to training.

His return would mean boss Roberto Mancini selecting from a full strength defence for the first time this season.

glad that he's on the way back, even if Blackpool is too soon Arsenal is only a week later.

For me, he'd need to play against Blackpool before being considered for the Arsenal match the following week, that's too big of a game to be risking it if he's not quite upto scratch.

if i have to chose between Lescott and an unfit Kolorov, i pick the latter. Lescott is our weak link.

v Blackpool would be a good run out for Kolarov. If he plays Mancini must feel he is up to it and that would be great news. Having a settled back 4 of Boateng Kolo Kompany and Kolarov would be fantastic and help to cement our position in the top 4, if not the top 2.

If true then this is fantastic news. However, I thought we missed Zabaletta's drive on Sunday and am wondering how we're going to get him into the side on a regular basis when we get our two first choice full-backs fit. The answer is I don't think we are.
