It is not opinion, it is fact, that little player interviews like this are meaningless. What's he going to say "I don't like Mancini?" or "We all want a bigger name"?

Remember Hughes saying Dunne was a huge part of his plans, then selling him? Robinho wanting to be at the club for ten years? I could go on and on.

You tell the press what you are supposed to tell them, unless you want to be dropped and/or fined. Especially if you are club bloody captain.

Whats their problem Dave? Surely they 'know' they've only got 4 games left under a manager they don't get on with so you'd think they'd just get on with it normally and ride it out until the end of the season?

If Tevez AND Bellamy don't like the manager and aren't happy they can both piss off. Tevez needs to shut up talking about the rags and Bellamy needs to get over the fact that Hughes is gone and he has to do a little extra training. Any player who is not happy with the manager or doesn't want to play for the club should go. I would rather keep Mancini at this club than any player we currently have.

it must be difficult for some man city players because if you do finish 4th then how many off those players can guarantee for certain they will be in the managers plans next year, as im sure you will go after 11 better players if you can get them as money isnt the issue, ie if buffon become available then id expect you to be 1st in the queue as he is a better keeper than given. professional pride should want to finish 4th but some footballers dont think like that

I'd agree with all that although I feel that while injuries have affected Ireland he has also failed to fit into the team shape.
