    Indeed, I lusted over one of these for years, the Steve McQueen Mustang was the best ever, an icon,
    as was another of that era, the Dodge charger.

    I've always loved the look of the Lincoln Continental, albeit not a muscle car. I also know that I would look utterly ridiculous if I were to be seen driving one.

    The Dodge was a little angular for me, the McQueen Mustang was a thing of pure beauty.

    I was in LA in 73 and my cousin’s boyfriend took us to a club in his 66 Mustang. The band playing were a very low key T Rex. Heard the Slider album for the first time and loved it.
