Morgan: - To Vinnie, " If i pay you £50 million, will you play for us"

Vinnie:- "Great club, but no."

Morgan:- " 60 million and 2 Ferraris?"

Vinnie:- "Those days have gone. I play for glory"

A truly classy man and captain. Doesn't he study buisness? i seriously can see him being chairman one day.

What a star Vincent Kompany is. He represents our club as well as anyone ever has, IMHO.

A true Citizen, for whom I hope we can find a position within the club after he hangs up his boots.

Though, of course, I hope that's not for many years yet.

The word role model gets bandied around a lot when talking about elite sports stars. I think in this case though, it is 100% true. The guy is a true role model and leader. You simply cannot put a price on what he brings to this club.

What a fine man he is. I hate the term "legend", especially when it's thrown about to people who blatantly don't deserve it.

But in the history of MCFC he's already done enough to be bracketed alongside Trautmann, Paul, Bell and Book.
