Look Pablo1, I love Kompany too for goodness sake!

But these constant injuries are now going to affect the team's overall league position this year, we just can't be this over-reliant on one player to the club's detriment.

Perhaps your anger should be focused more on Pellegrini for over playing our captain yet again?
 
On a personal level, I am completely gutted for him. He is so profession and clearly loves our club. It is clear that there has been no diagnosis of why he gets these reoccurring calf injuries. Until there is I can see no improvement on the current situation. We need to buy another centre back and Pep needs to identify an alternative as club captain. I fear we are at the end of an era. Well done tonight though. Loads of criticism on Bt commentary but I think we managed the game very well.
 
He needs to forget this season, forget the Euros and work like a dog in the summer.

Seriously no room for sentiment.

Might be best to play him off the bench next season and see if he can make it through more games that way.

Personally I am looking forward to a completely revamped side next season , fresh , younger playing the football that will mean full stadiums 6 minutes into injury time.

That's not been the case for nearly two season now.

It's not about being over reliant on him - I'm aware that we can't expect him to play maybe anymore than 25-30 games a year.
The question you have to ask is would that benefit us as opposed to fucking him off the first chance we get and the answer is yes. If he's one of our four CBs going into next season then we're in a far better position than if he isn't. It's a couple of the other ones we need to be replacing with top quality. Demichelis is gone so one of Mangala or otamendi making way with Denayer coming back and a new signing makes us good to go.

Want a new captain we get over the summer , someone from left field a little but plays every game at least every important game because we have to get back to the stage where we instil the fear of death into our opponents.
 
I hope Vinny recovers in time for the Euros and has a wonderful tournament. Feel desperately sorry for him but the club comes first and unless the root cause of this series of injuries is found and cured, we simply can't rely on him. If we can't rely on him then his days have to be numbered.
