Whether or not the skipper plays tomorrow hardly necessitates the surrender mentality of some on here. It's not ideal certainly but there's more than one way to skin a cat. Surely a manager at the top level can make the necessary tactical adjustment to compensate for the absence of Vinny (if and that's a big if he is out tomorrow). Far worse teams than ours can set themselves up to be hard to beat. Anyway fuck all anyone on here can do about it. Just go out have a few beers ,the optimism will soon return.

Well said, mate.

That will have a huge impact on the title run in.

Hope e is fine and its only a precaution, if he is out of liverpool game we will get battered, and if he is out for longer we will be struggling to secure fourth by the end of the season

Re: Kompany Injured?

I'd personally rather have MDM/Lescott then a banged up Agger and Skrtel. So if they beat us, they deserve it. Assigning blame is ridiculous.

Huge blow if he is out, but it's idiotic to blame Richards, or Pellegrini for practicing set pieces the day before. It's just an unfortunate accident.

No it's not.

There's absolutely no need to practice high impact training/set pieces the day before a match, regardless if it was an accident or not. Once Firday's practice sessions were over, it should have been left at that.

Light training, stretching, and go through tactics again. Job done. Then off to Liverpool.

It was idiotic to do what they did this Morning, on the eve of the most important game of the season so far.

So with all their professional resources and expertise, you're saying City's staff haven't a clue how to plan training sessions?

You know what I'm getting at. Don't try and play that card. And yes, City do have the above and more. But let's have some common sense ah.

In all honesty, is that the kind of training you want to see on the eve of such an important match, accident or not?

Even if God forbid Kompany is out if tomorrow's game we can still get a result there.

We will concede but we will score plenty I believe

4-5 City!!

Re: Kompany Injured?

While losing Kompany will be a blow we have enough players there to set up to defend ok and more than enough player to cause them problems.Suarez and co will cause a defence problems with or without Kompany so let's regroup and grit our teeth and get the job done!

Up to now I hadn't realised we're a one-man team but it all becomes clear on this thread. Why risk Vinny tomorrow if he's only 50% fit, that would probably mean him missing the rest of the season.

Tomorrow IS the rest of the season. Liverpool are on a mission like we were with 5 games to go in 2012. We knew we had some tough games like rags away and newcastke away, but victory was in sight and we were locked on. Liverpool will win it unless we stop them tomorrow, I am convinced of it.

If we can't cope with the loss of one player - whoever it is - then we aren't good enough to be champions anyway.

Spot on.

Re: Kompany Injured?
