Mancini said he'll appeal it, what are the odds of it being overturned?

About 50/50 for me.

Re: Kompany red card and appeal

No way was it a red card, totally expect it to be overturned, the side view confirms it was one footed and the ball was taken cleanly

Re: Kompany red card and appeal

No chance in hell of it getting overturned.
Accept it and move on.

Re: Kompany red card and appeal

I hope the FA see sense but I doubt that very much.

Re: Kompany red card and appeal

Can see why the ref thought it was a red but from the side view its clearly 1 footed and not even a foul imo. Should get rescinded but with David Gill on the FA I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't!!

Re: Kompany red card and appeal

I dont think it should have been a red card, however I cant see the FA overturning it unless Dean admits he made a mistake. Which he is unlikely to do.

Re: Kompany red card and appeal

No way a red total bollocks but we won't win it either

Re: Kompany red card and appeal

3 match ban,possibly 4 if we appeal.

I think once Mancini has watched it again he will see that Kompany had two feet off the ground at one point.

Ridiculous,yes,but its the current law.
