Wasn't the critisism more to do with him not really being "English"?
even though he's the 24th non "English" England captain.

Yeah, not to mention the scores of non-english non-captains we've had in the past (hick, caddick, greig, lamb etc etc).
It's not that much of an issue to me with KP, his mum's English and he chose to come and live here and play 4 years of county cricket to qualify for the England team.
