Sabella, the new manager of Argentina, has included Kun and Pablo in his 26-man squad. Carlos is not included.

Meanwhile, Sabella has named a 26-man squad for the upcoming friendlies against Venezuela and Nigeria, on Sept. 2 and 6, respectively.

This roster contains only players who compete outside Argentina, minus Lanus goalkeeper Esteban Andrada. The biggest surprise on the list is the exclusion of Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez, whose future at Manchester City is still up in the air.

Here is the list of players who feature in the Argentina roster, which will tackle Venezuela and Nigeria:

Goalkeepers: Mariano Andujar, Sergio Romero, Esteban Andrada

Defenders: Nicolas Burdisso, Ezequiel Garay, Nicolas Otamendi, Pablo Zabaleta, Cristian Ansaldi, Martin Demichelis, Federico Fernandez, Nicolas Pareja, Marcos Rojo

Midfielders: Angel di Maria, Javier Mascherano, Eduardo Salvio, Ricardo Alvarez, Fabian Rinaudo, Javier Pastore, Lucho Gonzalez, Ever Banega, Jonas Gutierrez, Jose Sosa

Strikers: Gonzalo Higuain, Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero, Lisandro Lopez

I just don't understand Gutierrez, how does he get in these squads?

I can't stand footballers who's sole purpose seems to be get the ball, turn, run as fast as possible in a general direction, lose the ball, chase back, foul, then get applauded for being direct and hardworking.

Something tells me that this lineup will and would rock Spain in 2014.
Argentina's central defenders are poor. Until they produce decent CB's it doesn't matter if they're have four Messis in midfield and two Agüeros up front.

Mascherano is better than any other Argy CB at CB. They should play him there!

What's wrong with Burdisso?
