Don't forget it's Agüero not Aguero!
How do you put the dots over the U?
I mostly come on Bluemoon on my iPhone and when you hold down a letter for a second or two it pops up with options for accents. "áçčéñtß"

In Spanish "Agüero" is pronounced how we say it 'Agg-ware-roh'.
In Spanish "Aguero" is pronounced 'Agg-air-roh' because without the accent the 'U' is a silent 'U'.

Ok. I was wondering if there was a combination of keys I could use on my computer keyboard to get it. The Yank commentator the other day kept pronouncing it Aguero instead of the correct way. Mind you he also said Gudet for Guidetti and appeared to be a grade A moron! ;)

It will probably be down to Premier League ruling as they are particular over what they allow, normally it's just the name on a passport unless you want to be called 'little pea' then you can use a nickname but not a combination of real and made up

or if you play for MUFC you can have what you want on your shirt

remember a few years ago and there was a rule that only last names could go on shirts but Jordi Cruyff of United managed to get away with just having his first name on his shirt (ie Jordi) with some bullshit about it would be too much pressure to play with his fathers name on his back?

To be fair we had Robinho (not his name) so there are exceptions.
