Txiki negotiating and Bluemoon stood behind.

Made me laugh.

Spurs know walker wants out,he doesn't get on with Pinocchio, levy is playing hardball as usual the bent bastard,I think we will get him for £35 mill they need the money for the new ground.

Spurs are as happy to let Walker go as he is to leave. That's the only reason there's any possibility of a deal. And no chance that the fee will be as low as £35m. Prime age; English premium; full international; arguably the best right back in the league; four years remaining on his contract....

Given the ridiculous benchmark in the transfer market set by numerous deals thus far this summer, my bet is that the eventual fee will be nearer £50m than £40m.

And no, Spurs don't need money for the new stadium. Not from selling their best players. You don't fill a big stadium by having a crap team.

Lastly......"bent"? Please clarify.

Hmmm. To suggest Spurs don't need money is clearly nonsense.

How much will the cost overrun be on the new stadium? Brexit is hiking prices up like mad for all building materials. I guess it will depend how you have procured but I'd bet on a 30 to 40 per cent higher spend than budget.
