Real will not offer more than 100 million, they will simply prefer to wait for next summer to get him for free. And in general, what does Mbappe have to do in Real? real madrid and barcelona will always be a massive draw for players and fans alike due to history and prestige. they're not immune to down phases but as soon as they got money, eyes, minds and top players will flock there. Although covid and bad management will slow things and make it harder than usual for them to get to the top again

I could still see this being possible. Just because the talk is about RM, and because the media are clickbait merchants telling whichever fans whatever they want to hear, I don't discount City really pushing hard for this guy. And City operate under the radar sometimes. I can dream but I certainly don't believe it isn't possible just because of no media coverage of the potential.
