He's been average quite a lot of the time however his goals in the champions league knock outs propelled the hype to a whole new level. Great talent but far to early to know exactly what he will become.
You'd wait until he was three years in at Madrid before deciding he was worth buying.

No, that is actually quite the opposite of how it works.If this was definitely happening, the bookies would pick up on it. They're the best place to look (not the tabloids or people claiming insider knowledge on this site)
Bookies are in business to make money. If he really is coming here and nobody knows it and everyone is putting money on the Spanish teams the bookies will make a fortune.

His movement is unbelievable, that's what's impressed me most. People pay for speed and composure but it's his movement that sets him apart.I think the lad is talented. Of course he is. But it's still very early in his career so it's hard to judge.
If we can afford VVD, Sanchez and Mbappe, I say fuck it, sign the lot. If we can't, I'd prefer to spend the money on Sanchez and VVD, we'd piss the League and be a serious threat for the Champs League. If we have to pass on Sanchez and sign a back up centre back in order to sign a kid for silly money then that's a mistake imoMuch better if the Sheik buys another yacht with the cash.

I don't think he's been average in any game I've seen, and I saw a lot of them.
He scored in 23 of the 29 games he started, so I wonder when those average games were?
Who will become the better player Dembele or Mpabbe, none of you could guarantee mpabbe will be better then Dembele. At the prices given I would take Dembele.
Dembele is an amazing player, but he's just like many others his age, all of his potential ultimately relies on him being able to increase his scoring. 6 league goals in 32 games isn't going to win anyone a Ballon d'or. He wastes a lot of chances, and he may well find his scoring boots but it's not certain.
Mbappé's isn't. Mbappé just needs to keep doing what he is doing. His cold hard goalscoring numbers are ridiculous for an 18 year old, you have to go back to players like Ronaldo in 1995 to find a player that age scoring similar numbers.
