They've spent their entire Summer flogging off their players for maximal prices. I'll keep an eye on this, but I can't see city getting involved at the prices that are being talked about.

Yeh I was optimistic of this happening but i'm not so sure now. Looks like he will move soon and can't see us paying anywhere near what they want. Shame.

Geez, doesn't anyone else believe in investing in a little optimism anymore? C'mon guys. The rags have been wrong plenty of times. We have no idea what's cooking in the background. Two weeks left in the window and that means anything is possible!

Yeh fuck it, deals still on. Every hope we have a fee agreed and just kept it away from the media just to watch everyone melt when he signs.
