Kylian Mbappé

It's a one off thing that he will always have so i'll give him that, day to day he is in france with the biggest team,in that respect he has not exactly tested himself so hasn't earned the zlatan ego
Agreed, but he will end up being a far better player than zlatan.

Even playing in France for PSG, he is showing things most other players cannot do.
Areola got exposed while playing at PSG, same with Kurzawa. Choupo-Moting is still the clown he was at Stoke and David Luiz wasn't a world beater in France either. He is prolly more respected in England with his stints at Chelsea and Arsenal. He left because he was losing his spot to Marquinhos.

He is indeed a special player. However, he is overrated at his current level when he is compared to Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo or even Neymar. He is in a group below them (more like a Thierry Henry). He needs to finally put great performances in CL regularly.

You seriously saying that Thierry Henry was a level below Neymar?

In term of talent, sure.

Neymar doesn't have the career he should have had because of injuries and co. but he is a better player than Thierry Henry. He is both winger, playmaker and goalscorer. Excellent on free kick and penalty kick. A very rare player.

However, Thierry Henry is and will be a bigger legend than Neymar.

^ Henry did and was a winger originally. As far as playmaking and goalscoring, Henry assisted 20 and scored 24 in the 02/03 season, and that was when United were at their peak and the competition was cut-throat. Henry at his peak was unplayable. Neymar has his theatrics, kinda like Ronaldinho in that regard. The ultimate bread and circuses player. Henry was way more impactful.

You might want to watch Neymar numbers if you think Henry is way way more impactful. And Neymar can drift from the wing to very deep into his own half to drive the ball up the pitch both by dribbling or with passing. Complete playmaker.

Even the stats will tell you Neymar isn't just theatrics but has a tremendous end product.

790 games, 360 goals, 161 assists.

https://www.transfermarkt.fr/neymar/leistungsdaten/spieler/68290/plus/0?saison=ges
396 games, 241 goals, 150 assists. All that for a player who had 3 career threatening injuries (his back in WC where it was feared he couldn't walk again, his foot last two years who have sidelined him for half a season each time).

If you want to take CL as the standard :
Henry has 112 games (8602 mins) for 50 goals and 17 assists while Neymar has 55 games (4703 mins) for 33 goals and 25 assists.

One played with Messi, Suarez, Xavi and Inesta and in a shit French league and the other didn't. Those numbers are astroturfed and you know it.

You've got to be joking. Neymar impacts games at least as much as Henry, if not more.

If you want to swap stats, here's one where you can actually compare the 2 because they were in the same team, same league. Henry is 29/30, Neymar 22/23.

Henry at Barcelona playing second fiddle to Messi, 35 goals and 23 assists in 90 games.

Neymar playing second fiddle to Messi, 70 goals 35 assists in 100 games.

Neymar on form is the only player who gets close to breaking the Messi/Ronaldo top 2, and injuries and moving to France have stopped that conversation but he is a ludicrously good footballer and sorely underrated because people don't like him.

Neymar was better than Messi at some really big times for Barcelona, like the famous comeback against PSG which was all down to him, the Copa del Rey final in his last year there, the semi finals against Bayern when they won the treble.

He scored in every game in that CL run from the quarter finals with 7 goals in 5 games. Pretty impactful on the last CL win of Barça.

It would help if you quoted the poster to whom you are responding.
