No way is his misses coming back to Manchester. Not even for a cup of char!
Even if they needed to raise the 167 million to pay for it, which they won't because of amortization and all the other accounting tricks, there would be no point selling Mbappe. In 5 years time he will still be worth 200 million, if he really kicks on it could be even more! Whereas its highly unlikely the same would be true of anyone else in their squad.
Plus I reckon if things got really really desperate the Qatari owners could find a million ways to get out of FFP. Chuck some money into a big chinese club or any club that doesn't have to worry about FFP really and sign those same PSG assets for massively inflated prices. Don't think that would leave UEFA a leg to stand on.
And if uefa find psg guilty of breaching FFP rules and kick them out of the champions league, what happens then?
Mbappe puts in a transfer request?
Pretty much. I can’t see PSG being kicked out of the CL.
Even if it happened. PSG would say either we sell you for a profit or your staying because you have 4/5 years left on your deal.
VVD put in a transfer request, nothing happened in the summer then in January he left not for a knockdown fee but a world record £75m. Mahrez put in a transfer request in January yet he’s still there, it means little.
He will have bonuses linked to playing in the champions league, so his contract would have to change if psg are kicked out, most of the time players who are unhappy or put in a transfer request move eventually
Lol sorry but the contract will not change just because of that. It’s not how it works...
Yes they do move eventually. So if a club comes in and pays 160m+ he could move. Don’t see Real, Barca and especially not us paying that much.
Mbappe not being in the champions league will also effect his personal sponsorships, he would ask psg to change improve his contract, lol is dose work like that, players don't like losing money
He can certainly ask, but they'll tell him no and that'll be that. What is he gonna do? Sit out for four years? There is a 0% chance of this happening this summer.
How do you think player contracts work? They're not so fragile that not qualifying for the champions league breaks them otherwise a team having a bad year would allow all their first team players to leave.
