La Vuelta a Espana 2015

A bit late starting a thread this year, but not to worry.

Typically wacky Vuelta start with a TTT on the beach! BMC win it, where as Sky appear to stop along the way to make sandcastles and have ice cream. Day 2 sees naughty Nibs get kicked off the race for putting his paws on a passing car for an inordinate amount of time, meanwhile little Chaves smokes all the GC guys uphill in the beautiful surroundings of Camino del Rey. Yesterday Sagan proved this definitely wasn't Le Tour by actually WINNING a stage (out kicking Degenkolb no less), whilst waiting at the finish line to get the inside track is of course lovely lovely lovely Laura.

Today is a nasty uphill finish, much like the other 20 stages - Long live the Vuelta

Uneventful today...well apart from the rotund topless scoundrel who pounced upon a crash and brazenly tried to ride off on Joe Drombrowski's bike whilst smoking a cigarette and offering a wink as a means of justification. Oh and Sagan showing no climbing etiquette when lurching across the road wildly, causing the attacking Caja Rual rider to nearly 'crash down on the crossbar'. Valverde took the stage, Carlton proclaimed 'what a day' like he does every single other day, and Juan Antonio Flecha smiled a lot but didn't make much sense - on to the next one.
